I went on vacation with some friends and they booked the reservations. They forgot to tell me that the resort was a nudist resort. Needless to say I was a little upset about the situation.
The first day I pretty much hung out in my room but I figured for the money I spent I was going to enjoy the amenities of the resort. The next two days I wandered around in a bathing suit and I couldn’t believe how uncomfortable that was. I mean I was clothed but everyone else was naked as could be. I realized really quickly I stuck out like a sore thumb and people actually avoided me because of it. Finally on the 4th day I stripped down to nothing but a pair of shoes and off I went. I don’t know what I was so worried about it actually turned out to be a fun trip and I met some really interesting people. While it’s not something I’m really into I do remember the experience with fond memories.

Ashley: Yeah, I agree. Sorta. I never feel completely unaware of all the nakedness, including my own. I just make sure my sunglasses are dark enough to hide all my gawking.

Going nude in public for the first time is a challenge. You try too hard to focus on not looking on anyone and as a result you cannot fully relax. However once you get into this, you stop noticing the naked bodies around you and enjoy your own nakedness … sorta.

Call me old school. I have a muscular/athletic body, my abs are pretty good, and feel pretty good about my image. There is no way I can imagine eating nude in a public place where I would probably see other people that are shall we say – a tad overweight. Gross! I’m sorry…that’s how I feel about it. But I have to say – it takes guts to do something like that – so I applaud anyone that does.

I’ll go to a buffet w/ jeans and a t-shirt. That’s just me though.

We go to a nude camp ground as often as possible…

I know of a guy walking out of the m/w bathrooms out onto the large pooldeck. With dozens of people up and about…
Only unknown to him some of his recent paperwork is well….not finished……not filed correctly.It’s trailing behind him as he transits the pools edge…Needless to say he was pulled off to the side.

Another story, A rather senior couple returning home after weeks of a nude vacation to their suburban textile life. The Mrs looks out her kitchen window the morning after their return. While stirring her morning coffee she notes. Their in the driveway is something she recognized although it is something not for public viewing. ‘Lo an behold…..hubby has inadvertantly gone out to get the morning paper. There in front of God,Man,Woman and child is hubby bending over to pick up his paper….but he’s forgotten to put his clothes on.

She screamed, He jumped, while the coffee was spilled and the paper remained unread.

LMAO! Too funny! I would have NEVER had the nerve to be nude in public...not even in a women's locker room. I hated jr. high. It was fun reading your escapades though! lol Lori's last blog post..The weekend
