According to my research, that bacon lube may not be an actual product, but rest assured: I have written to the makers of Bacon Salt to see if it exists—and if it doesn’t, could they please make it for me. If I can find it, I WILL try it. The beer lube, however, would probably make me puke. THANK YOU for bringing this to my attention. Hey, aren’t you the one who alerted me to the online cereal marshmallows? I see a partnership developing here . . .

Sunshine: You make a good point. I think the key to a winning combo is making sure the bacon is crisp. Otherwise, all I can think of is that chewy, fatty part—and that doesn’t belong anywhere.

That video is hilarious! No, I hadn’t seen it. I love the ominous music playing as the gravy is plopped down alongside the chicken-fried bacon. I’m not at all interested in that, I have to say. Even with more salt.

Bacon goes with EVERYthing… including ice cream – but only a Wendy’s frosty, and only if the bacon is fried CRISP… and you don’t mix the bacon in, you use the ice cream as a dip of sorts… you know, like you do with their fries…

Peanut butter and bacon sounds pretty good to me, as does PB on chocolate chip cookies. God, now I'm hungry, and all I have is salad and diet frozen dinners.
