Natural: Yeah, I guffawed a bit at that "alert" statement, and yet it is soooo Dave. I can't imagine him not reading (and loving to DEATH) my blog. Sometimes I read over his shoulder while he's reading. He loves that. Jay: I love the idea of a Blogger's Husbands Anonymous group! They can all get together and share their stores of how they were humiliated online. So far there's only been one thing Dave won't let me blog about, but I'm working on it. schmutzie: Thank you! I'm on my way over . . . Lola: The feathers, like everything else, must've washed ashore. And I do believe there's some kind of flying machine episode. I'll ask Dave. I'm sure he knows. We’ve had a few go-arounds at my place about “blog fodder”. My husband is routinely abused. I’m horrified that he might start his own blog.

I never cared for Gilligan’s Island. So juvenile! Lol!

Yeah, what is with the supply hut? Did they have Mary Ann plucking the feathers from birds and putting them in that storage hut? And why? What would they need feathers for? Was the Professor planning on building some flying machine to get them out of there?

See I couldn’t watch that show without picking at all the ridiculous things they did, the stuff that didn’t make sense.

Your Dave and my OH should form a ‘Blogger’s Husbands Anonymous’ group! I’m always using my husband for blog-fodder, and sometimes just the threat will bring that hunted look to his face, bless him!

He’s very good natured and tolerant though, and if he says to me ‘No, you may not post that on your blog’ I do respect it.

Florida Girl In Sydney: OK, I think you’ve admitted enough here to make your OWN embarrassing blog post! Dave loves I Dream of Jeannie, but that was never one of my faves. Tho I did like Evil Jeannie. Wasn’t there an Evil Jeannie or am I thinking of Bewitched?

Ungirdled Passion: YAY! I’m so glad you did, too! Wow, you are a treasure trove of TV trivia. I’d forgotten about Fred Rutherford/Mel Cooley. HA! Whenever I think of The Beverly Hillbillies, I think of the word “vittles,” which I only recently found out was spelled “victuals.” Isn’t that weird?

babs – beetle: Your childhood sounds a lot more wholesome than those of today. Even when I was a kid, tho we watched way too much TV, we still played outside alone till all hours. I wonder if you can listen to Journey into Space today?

My favorite was the Hamlet send-up they did, with music from Carmen… Toreador Song with Lyrics: “Neither a borrower nor a lender be, do not forget, stay out of debt… ” A nice forecursor to those lovely Free Credit Report dot com ads with the guys in pirate hats and tights…
